Yes once again it's time to call attention to two of our finest! Not long ago Mother(Joe) posted a thread on Kits & References he was parting with. In due course I received in the mail, shipping Prepaid, ABSOLUTELY FREE an airfix 1:72 RAF airfield rescue set. My son Logan is over the moon with the Idea of helping me with the "Kid-sized" models. Add to that the fact that Mother is now in the beginning stages of constructing not just one, but THREE ejection seats/pods in 1:16 for three lucky individuals. Take a look in his gallery at the amazing AV8B seat he scratched, and you'll see that this is no small feat! Good on ya Mother! We are not worthy!!!
Also not long ago James ( Phantom Major) Porter was responding to a request for info on the Daimler Scout car. In passing he mentioned that he'd never get around to building his old (1972) Tamiya kit of this vehicle & would probably toss it. Being the shameless Scavenger that I am, I promptly PM'ed him asking him to send it my way before binning it, & I'd gladly pay Post. Not three days later, what should arrive in the mail but the very kit, Post Paid(2Pounds 50p) Complete & Still Sealed In The Bag! Mr Porter would not hear of recompense( but if any of you have Hugh Hefner's phone#, I think a visit from Miss Nov. might help a bit...)so all told he may as well have just dropped 12 or so bucks in my pocket.
Is there any wonder, with fine members such as these, that this is THE GREATEST SITE ON THE NET?
Mother, Phantom Major, I salute you!!!

Hi rob
It's no surprise to hear Joe and James singled out for the help they give other members... they're both a wonderful example of what makes Armorama far and away the best modelling community on the Net!
Cheers to both you guys.. you've done us all proud!
All the best

I'll have to second LogansDad on Mother. Here I was complaining (as usual) about how difficult to get styrene in this part of the world in the Community forum and Joe PM me with an offer to send me some. Although I haven't taken up the offer his offer was nevertheless super kind and helpful and definitely made my day.
Thanks Joe aka Good Guy.
