Hey guys,

Im looking for any info anyone might have concerning the new MTVR TRactor Version. Specifically top veiws of the 5th wheel and such. Also pics of the chassis would be great.

Its in use with the seebees right now and the marines

The name Oshkosh gives this variant is the MTVR MET or Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement Medium Equiptment Transporter.

I searched all my refs. and I couldn't find a single photo of the tractor version. I guess it is too new of a truck.

For pictures of the vehicle, I would check on these two sites:
www.militaryphotos.net in the OIF Marines section
and www.combatindex.com under land vehicles. Hope this helps.

First off thanks for the help

the MTVR MET or Mk31 tractor isnt in iraq or anywhere overseas yet. The standard cargo version is, but the tractor is still being evaluated and tested in the US. I have the info sheet from Oshkosh truck. Id scan the sheet but its copyrighted. Its got line drawings and such. In the pic though it shows the tractor towing a D7 bulldozer on a, what i believe is a 50ton trailer.
