Hi guys

I have a question for those who have built a Kubakwagen {any scale} Those slats on the floor of the vehicle, what color were they on KWs sent to Italy ? I know German vehicles after 1943 had a dark yellow base coat on the outside, which is the color I plan to use. My problem is, of the pics of the KW that I either have or have found on the web those slates are all different colors. Was There no standard color for them ?

Those slats are made of wood on the 1/1 scale Kubel. They would be painted the same color as the interior of the vehicle, but depending on the type of wood, they would show different colors as the paint wore off.
