Airbrushed a few 1/72 panthers today (haven't airbrushed in at least 7 months).

I got to thinking on my soft edge camo technique (both for 1/72 and 1/35);
For German armor I'll spray a base coat of Tamiya dark yellow (XF-60), then freehand Dark Green (XF-61) and Red Brown (XF-64).
Currently I'm using an Aztec (fine nozzle for camo work) thinking about buying myself an Iwata Revolution as a Christmas present...
The camo looks ok but won't win any awards.

(3 images should show ) (I just shot these at my desk and uploaded 3 quick photos to show the Panthers)

As I'm always looking to improve my technique, I thought I'd post the question-
What is your technique for airbrushing soft edge camo?

Hey Pete, Looks like your air pressure is to high or your spraying to close or your airbrush tip is open to wide. It took me awhile to adjust to my airbrush as well. Practice, Practice, Practice is all you need. Get a piece of card board and airbrush lines on it. Move in and out and adjust your tip and note the patterns Also get a box or bottle and airbrush on that as well ( for cammo). Just make adjustments as needed while practicing.
