hi lt shultz well i live in the west midlands & i havent done any dioramas in cork but ive only seen cork in the noteboards you can just take the frame off so you are left with the cork you can buy them in stores like wilkos, woolworths, or try pound land its cheaper so if i was you get to poundland. but i do my dioramas out of plasterboard it cost me nothing has i find them in skips by building sites. hope thats some help later dude len

Gentlemen, I think you may be missing the point here slightly.... The cork you need, is NOT the bog-standard stuff used for floors etc, but rather sheet cork which is only 2mm thick - the other is between 5 & 7mm thick! Hope this is of some help...Jim

P.S.it is sold by the metre and you'll find it in art-supply shops - very cheaply..

My cork is 3mm thick form a tile store.

In the uk

Thyt B&Q or Focus look in there floor sections at the floor tiles or try any shop that stocks model rail road bits and pieces as they should stock the stuff in rolls or sheets.

If you live in the Midlands try the "Model railway shop" in bird street, in Lichfield as they aways have plenty of cork in stock
