Last night i used Glad's Press n Seal seran wrap as a test. Worked out pretty good. I did some practice painting on some card board and an old kit. I just cut the shapes i needed, pressed and brushed away. Some paint did bleed under (not much) under the wrap. To correct this i did not shot the paint at the edge of the wrap, but behind and above. Work out great. I think it could be useful for aircraft cammo, and you'll have to work at a little more on AFV's
