I am wondering if the German M88 Flack guns where painted the same color as the German 8 ton 1/2 tracks pulling them or were there paint jobs some sort of gray.

I started my campaign models for the Ardennes Offensive and almost ready to paint so I am wondering what color for the German M88 Flack gun if my German 8 ton 1/2 track is the dunkelgelb and camo colors and what should the German M88 gun be.

Gray or Yellow, camo or not, they ran the whole gammut. The one on display at FT. Sill Oklahoma is Yellow (Tan) and I saw one at a museum in Europe (can't recall where) that was gray. What the heck, paint it to match the vehicle pulling it. HTH

P.S. I started mine as gray, but later added my own three color camo. I'll have a picture as soon as I figure out my new digi cam.
