Hello all!

Does anyone have any experience or feedback on the Hasegawa 1/24 Willys Jeeps? I haven't seen one in person, but Great Models has them on sale again and they look tempting.

I've seen a photo here and there of them built up, but very little in the way of how good or bad the kit is. Anyone have any experience with them?

I've got the one with the .30 caliber machine gun. Very nice kit, highly detailed and well worth the money.

I've also got both of the Italeri 1/24 scale Willys Jeeps, both the regular WW2 one and the Fire Jeep (same kit with fire equipment sprue). The Hasegawa Jeep kit is superior, although the Italeri Jeep kit is not a bad model itself. Noting really wrong with it. The Hasegawa kit is just better detailed and mch nicer.

Thanks Sabot! I had a lot of fun building Tamiya's 1/35th scale, so I was hoping for close to the same with these.

In case anyone's interested, Great Models has the kit with trailer for $18.00 and the kit with the .50 caliber machine gun for $13.50.
