Ola People

Some of you guys probably know this already but I`m going to say it anyway.
Coming friday (10th of December) I`m leaving cold, windy and grey Holland and head to the lovely little Island of Curacao in the Dutch Antilles. My grandparents there are 50 years married and that needs to be celebrated of course you don`t leave Cold, windy and grey Holland for 2 or 3 days and me and my fam are making a holiday of it. The holiday will last 3,5 week and I will be there with Christmas and Newyear too. For the first time in years I celebrate Christmas in a country where the Christmastree is unknown and where the "White" from White Christmas comes from the sands on the beach.
This means I have no work to do for 3,5 weeks and I can take some rest. The Island doesn`t have Military museums nor a big military history, No modeling shops, No models and Internet costs you a House there. So the trip has some dark sides. Let`s see how I come through that...... Doctor prescribed me lots of sun, Rum cooooool music and nice gir........ Oh well never mind.

I try to pop in every now and then from an Internet cafe which I know is on the island. But I won`t be able to upload stuff to the gallery for the next three and a half week. will pick that up again in the new year. You can still send the pics to me during my absence but they won`t be uploaded earlier then in the new year.

I`m really looking forward to this trip as it is already 5 years ago I saw my family there so it will be a time of much food, drinks, cool music and nice gir.......... Oh never mind. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Will still be around till thursday and then I`m heading to the

Sounds like a fun, and relaxing trip.. If you cant be modeling while youre there, maybe youll have a chance to do some hiking and find some new and different types of flora for diorama building when you return. Send some pics and have a safe trip.

Hey Robert ... if there isnt a rule about inciting violence on the site there should be. No need to keep rubbing it in, you know! I will have a few hours sunlight, minus temperatures, snow and ice, working and very little time off. Im sick.
have a great time buddy. I think its safe to say we´re all jealous! :-) :-)

Ola Guys

That is actually something I didn`t think of yet. The island isn`t that big but I`m sure I can find something which could be used for groundworks. Thanks for opening the eyes.

Frank
Sorry mate it was more or less a note that people could send me pics but that they won`t be uploaded till the new year........

Ohh you're lucky. Now i'm sitting at work and surfing in the internet (before my boss will come). Today at least the sun is shining. Late autumn with it rainy days is awful. So have a nice, sunny holiday
