The various models of the M3/M5 were used all over the world, including:
North Africa
Italy
Northwest Europe
Russia
Pacific
Far East
And they got knocked out in all those places...

They weren't use a lot in the ETO. I think because of thier size they were used more in the PTO. I know the British use Honey's in Africa.

With the exception of the early war British light tanks (which were pretty much out of service by 1941-42) ALL the allied armies used Stuarts of one sort or another. There weren't any others available to the western allies and the Russians preferred the Stuarts and Valentines to their own light tanks.
There are several reference books on the Stuart and in any of them there are a LOT of photos of Stuarts in combat. Every version of the Stuart from M2A4 to M5A1 saw action and, generally, lots of it. If you have a specific era or army you ware interested in. I'm sure one of us here can dig up a photo for you.

M3 were used in pretty large numbers in:
North Africa
Russia (soviets used them - lend lease)
Pacific (because of their size)
Italy
If possible, they were replaced by better tanks because most of them ended up dead...but in the early years of the war, they were seen pretty much I think!
They weren't used much in the ETO, the only version which wasn't rare was the M3A3 (also in free french service!) and the M3s' big brother, the M5 tank
