This is a church made in cork. is a sample that with cork you can made more tan bricks:-) is painted by Abilio Piñeiro. figures of the priest and boy was heavy modified by Jaume Ortiz that is also the painter.

Wow cork buildings suddenly seem to come from every direction blockhaus :-)
But this one is a beauty as well.....maybe I'll try the cork methode myself, I wanted to build a urban diorama anyway!

most impressive!
how was the intricate detail work around the gates made?
do you paint directly over the cork or do you use some sort of paste to texture it?

Hey Blockaus, I have a question, do you own or have shares in a company that produces this cork? with amazing work like this maybe you should think about it as everytime you show it I'm sure there must be a rise in their sales. I know I'm going to pick some up. Now all I need is a shop to sell some building talent and skill so Ican emulate this work. :-)

All of this work is made in cork. Ornaments around gate is made with bits of cork. A lot of architectural ornaments can be reproduced from very simple shapes: rectangle, circle, square. quarter round and half round from Evergreen plastic is very usseful for reproduce this.
Remearmr:YOu as discovered my true personality YES I´ m a secret agent from spanish cork industrie: The aims of my bosses is the domination of miniatures world with cork: first the houses afther the vehicles ....
