I went to the Museum yesterday to fill out my references but when I get there its closed. no signs, no explanations nadda. I checked the web site and even called everything said open 10-5. Anyone know anything. They have asmalll but nice colllection including ww2 VW bug, locust M7,M18 all restored as well as other stuff rotting outside unfortunately. The staff was nice and helpful. Hey,
I am from Rhode Island and I for sure do not remember it being in my home state. And I had never heard of that museum before.

PAk it's in connecticut, Danbury to be exact about an hour due north of new york. Depending if there is a cross connecticut road from stamford should take you about 2- 2.5 hours. Its not large but it is nice. I found out the guy (read vollunteer landed up sick)so noone was there yesterday I plan on tryin over the weekend.
