Hi there,
For my Ardennes dio (which I keep promising myself I will start soon!) I would like to have a hedge to give a backdrop and finish to the dio. I have seen many finehedges and bushes on peoples dio's and would be grateful of any advice you can offer.
Many Thanks
Robbo

Ola Robbo

Well there are different ways to get a hedge.
In the following picture I have made a little Bush/hedge by first taking some lychen dipping that in diluted white glue and sprinkle/dipping it in dried parsley. Then when I glued the thing on the base I sprayed it in several tones of green.

You could do the same with Rubberized Horsehair.
If you really want a hedge like in the Bocage then you first need to make an earth bank on which the lower growth consists of Rubberised horsehair sprinkle some leaves between it and with some seafoam you create the height of the trees usually found in such a hedge.
