I am loading the back of my DUKW with the Tamiya 2 1/2 ton cargo kit items. Does anyone know the color that the 55 gallon oil drum were during WW II? Appreciate any help or advice.
thanks

I think the rule of thumb would be OD. of course you could have various shades of OD depending on age, etc.

DJ...
I tried to answer this post off and on yesterday but I was having problems posting....I have a WWII Oil Drum kit at home, (at work now), but I can't for the life of me remember what color scheme is recommended...I can check later and let you know if you wish....But I might have to say as the other posters have, that it will be some shade of OD depending on the age of the drum....
