I discovered UB Hobbies in Puyallup, Washington while finishing some work for my boss. The work was totally unrelated to hunting for models, but I needed a diversion. I ordered the Italeri Crusader Mark II (IT6385). Came to $19.40 with shipping. Has anyone ever dealt with these fine people before? .....
thanks

How about a link? If they are that good, I would be happy to do business with them.

forgot there's two more shops in tacoma but they don't have that much as far as armor, figures, and dioramas. they are a little expensive to at least i think so. anyways they're hobby town usa which does have a good selection of paints and accesories off of 72nd and fantasy world off of hosmer.

And American Eagles Hobbies is a great little shop. But the one in Seattle is huge!

Guys,
I'm not sure what you are looking for, but if its one of the Zvezda kits, I'd say try http://WWW.Aviapress.com . They aren't the fastest, but they are cheap. Also, http://WWW.discountmodels.com is pretty good for other stuff, mainly from Japan, but worht a look. HTH.
Regards,
Georg

Georg---I agree that discount models is responsive. It would probably be of interest to folks in the armor forum if we told them which ones we have the best luck with. I ordered the T34/85, for example, from Hobby Link Japan. Got it for $19 including shipping. Arrived within three weeks of ordering. It looks great. I am anxious to build it. I also ordered the M-26 Pershing from these fine folks and received it before the local model store even knew it was available. So, I try to shop around and hit the best ones. I always appreciate someone letting me know their experiences.
