Russ Sharp aka "SAS" rides again !
Russ Sharp is a very talented builder who pleased us more than once with pictures of his high quality dioramas. Again he decided to submit new pictures of a couple of his creations. The pictures of his dioramas are definately worth a visit, so enjoy " Recon " : A British carrier on a recon mission in Normandy. Carrier by Tamiya reconstructed to the Scout Carrier configuration."

very nice diorama but may i suggest one thing, there is ( to my meaning ) a bit too much rubble for a nearly intact roofon booth side.
The model is greatly made anyway

Thanks guys for your comments, yeah I realized that after it was finished but what I was thinking about was getting a bit more colour in the scene so used brick rubble, supposedly from a blown building across the street. The carrier is actually a conversion from the Tamiya carrier to the Scout carrier which is open on the left rear of the vehicle and also has a engine installed .

Russ, you must be putting in about 20 hours a day to keep turning these dios out! I really like the carrier, but agree that the base would, in this case, have been better kept simple and less cluttered.

I saw your "Entering Germany" diorama as well, and thought it was amazing. This is equally as amazing, keep up the phenominal work
