Hiya.
Im currently building a scimitar LEP using the castoff conversion kit and plan to paint it in an Op Telic guise, has anybody got any decent shots of the LEP (especially the engine deck) just to point me in the wright direction?
Thanx guys.

Sweet. Good to see someone else working on the Scimtiar LEP. I haven't started mine but I do have a good engine deck shot that I found in Webshots and there is a MiS issue with a walkaround. I'll let you know what the issue is.
Have you seen the LEP pictures in the MOD Op Telic gallery?

No i havnt but i will. Im glad im not alone on the LEP, castoff have turned an already cracking kit into a real challenge, its just that engine deck is abit of a letdown.

Btw, I'm not sure whether the last 3 pics are LEP versions, but I came across them and I thought they were nice enough to post

What issues do you have with the engine deck? The only thing I see is that the fasteners are incorrect and should be taller.

Im a bit unsure about wether they have mesh grills or just the standard cheese grater vents, thats why im after a shot of the engine deck. its just me trying to be a perfectionist.

Hi,
I am currently building 2 scimitars, both 1/15 scale, 1 Falklands war (early) version, 1 gulf war (late) version.
Can anyone please advise of Humbrol colours for the British green and desert sand colours?
Also, I don't suppose anyone has any good pics or website links for the British combat uniform for Falklands?.....I've searched all the net for everything I can think of and had no luck so far

Try searching for DPM (disruptive pattern uniform)... There are some really nice pics of the uniform out there; I can send you some DPM pics if you want... I have a 120mm Brit Falklands figure painted in my Armorama folder as well:
figure
