Hey all, I've been playing around and finally uploaded some pictures in my gallery. I wanted to play around with linking to the gallery from here, so that's precisely what I'm doing. Feel free to hop over to my gallery to see my modest start in picture posting (only four so far, all my other photos are too big to upload and I haven't had the time to reduce any of them). Here's a sample:

Enjoy! Feedback would be appreciated, but I'll save you the trouble regarding comments on the tracks. I was in a rush to finish the model for a show, and long story short, I grabbed the wrong bottle of paint and didn't realize it until I was almost finished. Just haven't found the time to go back and re-do them.

Steve,

Nice Panzer. I like your weathering. The photos are well done, lighting and focus are good.

Nice model and very good pics you've got there! Did you use pastels for the dust on your panzer?

Nice build and weathering job. Since the tank is moving on cobblestones I would use silver/graphite pencils to bring up the metallic highlights a little more.

Cheers, Richard

Thanks for comments!
As for the weathering, I used no pastels, just oil paints. I used this subject as a test bed for extensive use of oils, taking some cues from an article by Adam Wilder on Missing Lynx.
And I agree on the need for more metallic shine on the tracks. There is some, but not enough. Someday, I'll take the time to take this back off the shelf and finish the tracks properly.
