Hi,
Does anyone know of a good airbrush that is readly avaible in the uk that is under £100 but can do fine detailing. It would be useful it it could be compatible with revell powerpacks. The 2 mian brands i have seen are Revell and Badger.
thanks in advance!

cheers

Philip

p.s for fine detailing i mean smoke marks and fine camo patterns.

You can get the Tamiya HG SF from HobbyLinkJapan (hlj.com) or Lucky Models (luckmodels.com, in HK) for about £50-60 and the shipping is not that much (hlj charges at cost). They are both excellent companies and ship quickly.

Sorry I know you said available in the UK but it's really easy to order them from Asia through these well-established companies.

Cheers, Richard

You might want to check out Machine Mart of all places. They list two which look to be copies or unbranded clones of the Badger 150 d/action and the 350 s/action external mix. Both are real cheap but I can't attest to the quality.

I would like an airbrush that can do camo patterns but could also do weathering and aging. Have any of you had good experiances with the revell professional series? I have a revell stater class and it is . Also some paint dried in it.

cheers

Do they work with revell power pack air bottles?
Also, what is better, gravity feed or bottom feed?

cheers

I'm not sure... Never tried it, but one of the other member's will surely know

Gravity Feed... It allows you to airbrush with less paint in the jar, it also allows you to airbrush at a lower pressure which in turn allows you to move more slowly while airbrushing

If you are refering to the aerosol type air canisters, all makes have a standard screw thread to take the hose attachment/regulator.
