Well if i can get the M109 kit ill will be starting this dio. So what i need to know is.
1: Were might I find a fire extinguisher like the one in the middle of the pic or somthing similar to it.
2: Is this psp plating on the ground to the right of fire extinguisher I thought it looked to thick to be psp.
3: Who carries the 155mm shells and maybe some hulls.
Every thing else I can scratchbuild.

Don't know of the large airfield fire extinguisher in 1/35 scale. Would be easy to build with a 1/35 scale oxygen bottle , some sheet plastic, length of hose, and some wagon wheels or bicycle wheels.

The PSP. It looks to me like it is left over ammo pallets for the 155mm rounds. The rounds are placed on a special-made pallet that has a lower wooden pallet with depressions for the bases of the rounds and an upper piece with 8 holes for that slips over the top of the rounds to hold them together. It looks like the ground is covered with the upper piece of the pallet. These wooden racks also come in the AFV Club kit, and I am not sure about the Verlinden set.

For rounds, Verlinden does a resin set, AFV Club does an excellent 155mm and 203mm (8") round set. Both sets include powder cans as well.

Not sure what you mean by hulls. I think you mean empty shell casings. If that is the case, there would be none. 155mm rounds do not leave an empty casing behind. The round is loaded into the breach and then cloth bags of powder are loaded. Once fired, there is nothing left behind, the round goes down range and the powder completely burns up.

Thanx for helping me out here. i was thinking of scratchbuilding the fire extinguisher just thought I would see if there was one out there first. I can also scratch the pallets now that i know what they are. Do the kits have the same amount 155mm shells in them.

Not sure about how many in the Verlinden set, it says double set.

Here is a photo from the Verliden site:

The AFV Club set has about 24 rounds and about the same amount of powder cans for each caliber, 155mm and 203mm.
Here it is:

I prefer the AFV Club set, They are priced about the same, $12 for AFV Club and about 14 for Verlinden's. I think the AFV Club set has more pieces, plus you get the 203mm ammo for an M110 SP Howitzer too.
