Army,

you want bamboo.....you use Bamboo.

In the gardenstores they sell a variety of real bambooplants. Big smal, green, red etc. If you look at the young bambooplants, they suit modeling in 1/35 scale just fine. Just cut them and let them dry thouroughly. After they've dried just paint and weather them.....beautiful.

I've got some Bamboo in the backyard at the mo. I'll see if I can make an article out of this on short notice....

I've seen some really nice bamboo plants sold by a company called Vegetarama... I'm not shure if the company still exists, but what they were selling are actually... dried bamboo sprouts. :-)

I believe it is best to use real plants when making dioramas. As Eagle has explained, the bamboo should be easy to obtain in gardenstores. Try it and let us know if it worked fine..

Double that. You just canīt beat the real feeling! Sometimes you donīt even have to paint them!
BTW, I found nice little particles from the fores yesterday, they go as fallen leaves as they are! :-) No need for expensive foliage!

Yep, I just like to add some sheen to the leaves with a semi-gloss coat, to give life to the plant...
