My latest project completed. It is of the gun truck Ace of Spade. I used photos of the replica of the truck that I had the privilege of riding on last June at our Veterans Reunion at Ft. Eustis Va. The model is a combination of the AFV Club M-35A1, Italeri M-925, and Evergreen plastic stock.

Thanks Cliff. The tires were carried for spares. Some of the gun trucks were also maintenance trucks as well. They were sometimes manned by mechanics. We even had cooks and clerks manning the guns. The gun trucks were crewed by volunteers.

You got to meet the Chief and Sammy and Drive? These are some great guys and brother Vietnam truckers. The Chief is tops with all of us in the Trans corps. He is sort of the "godfather" of transportation. He also lives in Wisconsin.
