Just like to share my progress on the campaign so far. It's tamiya Ardennes Front kit build OOB with extra PE set for the grille. Figures are from DML set and the kubelwagen(Tamiya) is the last addition which i didnt quite sure to put into the dio.
well after some troubles with my compressor and airbrush, this is the output so far.
The king tiger have been painted will dark yellow and buff and will received another coat tonight and then i will do the ambush scheme cammo.

any comments are welcome. thanks for watching

I like the pattern on the Kubel. I am curious about the orange guys. Do they get turned into the camouflaged guys? You camouflaged guys looks fantastic.

Plus everyone's King Tiger looks better than mine

Hi Alan..
thanks for your comments. Ahh about the orange guys. I guess i will get more comments on the orange color. the orange guys were painted somewhere 2 years ago and i manage to find them to fit into the dio. The orange color i painted as per the instruction on the box. I dont know wheter it's right or wrong about the orange color and i will modified the color later. I have seen the same figures on Military Modelling mag whereby the guy had been painted with slightly redish tone ..more red then orange. I hope somebody could tell me the correct color. As for the other cammo guys, they're from the DML Fallschirmjager part 1 and 2 sets. the color are painted according the instructions.
The kubel is airbrushed freehand and i didnt like the final output. I will do a little touch up here and there until i satisfied.
Well i just hope i have enough time to finish the campaign.

LOL I was thinking that painting the guys orange was some new technique to create that awesome camouflage pattern.

It's looking good keep us updated as to the progress.

The guy in orange are on work release from county lock up, I see them picking up trash along the roadside all the time. :-)

I'm joking, never knew orange camo ever existed. Unless they are hiding in a pumpkin patch.

Hi Silantra the orange color is more a brown with an orangy tinge to it ,but nowhere near the orange color you have there.... Her is a site that sells copies of German camo garments but they are exact copies from the originals...This should help out with both your Fallshimjagers and your SS figures...

Hi Rick...
I knew i was wrong on the orange dudes. LAst night i look again onto the instruction and the color should be a mixture of orange yellow and wood brown (gunze color code) .. i will modify them later... the orange dudes were painted during my dark ages of modelling. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion and i did a quick browse at the link and i think the color of the orange guys should be something like this :

correct me again if i'm wrong. thanks
