Wow Csago, That is fantastic!
Did you make your own plants?
Dus
I posted in previus posts about the plants; but I says again that long grass is unmade painted hemp rope, the plants in the river are from a witch broom, part of a key holder (from a chinese bazar), the little palms are branches of a plant we call "mimosa" in Spain (sorry, I don´t know english name), and the rest are mainly dried natural plants ; everything painted with acrylics from Vallejo.
Thank you.

My gosh this is definitely one top notch Dio. The colour of the swamp is very accurate and the details of the figures are just fantastic.
Excellent job!

Yes, you are allright, but I stop the work because I need to finish something (and there is too much work to do on the SOG dio...). So I´m working now in a diorama of ss cavalrymen chasing a soviet political advisor in 1941. As soon as I end this dio I´ll send pictures, of course.
Thanks.
PS. This pictures of seals are old, from a year ago ¡¡¡¡

Amazing work. The paint job and details are amazing. Only one little detail... Your Law gunner is wearing the M-72 "upside-down". It is no problem carrying it the way he does, but he will not be able to ready the weapon very fast. The rear sight cover are supposed to be down, because this is the part you reach for first when getting ready to fire. The weapon is grabbed by your right hand, moved forward under your right arm, and safety pins and covers removed while holding the weapon on the hip. A minor detail you have to be a soldier to know, but I thought I should mention it. Anyway, I am a bit embarrased to post this, since the work is so superb.
Cheers

Hi Csago, keeping a close eye on your work and am really impressed with it all... can I ask what technique you use for the water in your dios? It has that splashy look... do you use a base-water material then add the splashes or do it all in one go?
Really enjoy your work....
Richard

I LOVE this dio. The only nitpick I have is that Seals did not use the G3. They in fact used the Harrison and Richardson rifle that was a licensed built copy of the HK 33. The difference is that it has a long, thinner, curved magazine that held 5.56 instead of 7.62 ammo. The magazines came in 20 and 40 round versions.
Close examination of photos of seals in nam who appear to have G3s reveals they actually carried these other variants.
Other than that, all of your dios I've seen, including the LSSC one, are absolutely tremendous, and should inspire all to do great work. If only we could achieve it....

Hello,
Your diorama is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marvelous job !
May I ask what do you mean by "the plants in the river are from a witch broom, part of a key holder (from a chinese bazar), " and unmade hemp rode. Sorry my english is not so good and I cannot what you refer to ? Would you mind post a pictures of the material you stated before the transformation for your dio ? I would greatly appreciate. The kind of bamboo close to the river are just marvelous and look so true !!
By the way I used to live in South of France, where you can finda lot of Mimosa, but never realised that it could represent Palm trees.
Once again Félicitations !
Best
Julien
