Hi Folks!
First of all, I like to thank You all so much for Your help in advice of wich 1/16 R/C Tamiya tank I should by as my first R/C tank. Thank You!
Anyway, I think I will go for the Tiger 1. (56010)
I saw the site "backyard armor", that they offer some nice details, like metal tracks e.t.c.
The question, is the Tiger 1 ok to build straigth out of the box? or is it to recomend/nessery that I use some of the "extra" details like metaltracks, metalsprocketguides, metalbarrel and reciol upgardeset? etc or is the kit ok like it is?
What do You think?
Best regards
Per

That is a good choice for your first tank, just build it out of the box,it will be great.Any of the extra stuff you can do later if you want.Put the extra money towards a Sherman and a couple of 'Battle Systems' instead;that's where the real fun is.

Hi Per,

Been away from getting to read the topics on the forum for the last 4 weeks but Backyard Armor does have some great stuff. I would recommend them!

I have built two Tamiya Tigers, I would suggest
you get a metal barrel and the metal tracks
by Kenny Kong at the very least.

I luv the metal tracks, nice and heavy!

Backyardarmor.com has many other items or
you can always check ebay.
