As am no good with oil washes i used powders mixed with water and brushed it all over the model,but yet to do the turret.

TigerIV is this your Sherman we were talking about when I switched to buiding a Tiger? Is it possible you have built yet another Sherman?
BTW I plan on building another TIger soon. Well maybe not a Tiger but a Sturmtiger or Bergtiger or something like that

The powder wash effect is very nice and effective. Looks just like dust/mud.
