I would like to know in the Vallejo paint line, what color is best to use for the red primer in 1/72nd scale?

I have tried the color 946 Dark Red, I think that this may be to dark for this scale. Can anyone please help me with my this problem?

I can't help you with Vallejo paint line but I usually use a mix of Tamiya's Hull red and red brown..Hey it works for me.
