I have a chance to get either the AFV Club Scorpion or Scimitar for a very low price. I was just wondering if either one of these afv's was used in the Iraq operation? Thanks.

The Scimitar was but has been modified from the version shown in the kit. The LEP conversion from Castoff would be needed to bring the Scimitar up to date. The conversion is shown here:

Except for the Sabre conversion I found on eBay, I've got all my Castoff kits from F & F Models http://freespace.virgin.net/john.burrows3/index1.htm

Haven't started on the kit yet but some else around here might be.
