argggh! these get me mad, getting the figures to stay on the dio, so i thought i could ask my armorama family.

so how do you get your figures to stick?

Drill little holes on the bottom of the feet (or whatever touches the base) and insert a pin into the figure and base.

That's the way to do it. You can use anything from hobby wire to paperclip pieces for the pins.

Actually, I put the pins in place right after assembly so that I have a 'holder' during painting.

If you make them long at first (then cut them down when you put them on the dio) you can insert the wire into a piece of sytrofoam or a soda lid turned over with a hole drilled in it.

You'll have to measure that against whatever you decide to use for a stick.

Your "stick" will depend on the leg/ankle you're drilling through. I use brass rod on my figures. A buck or so for four 1/32 inch foot long rods.

Hi Francois:

I use the technique the others have mentioned except I use toothpicks (the round type with points at both ends). These have worked for me so far, both to hold the figures while painting and also to attach them to the base.
