For my last Christmas gift I give you detail and sigline/banner toggles. They are right below to the left. For some users who don't like all the fluffy stuff this is simply a way to turn most of it off. It will also help speed up your page loads if you are on dial-up. And if many users switched off this stuff it would mean a lot fewer queries to the database in general. Which as busy as we have been lately would be a good thing.
I finished the HIDE feature as well. Users cannot hide themselves. Moderators will ALWAYS see all posts in forums they moderate. And you can reset your hidden users back to none by clicking a link down at the bottom of the page.
Cheers,
Jim

Nice one Jim... again. All the presents will satisfy all who want preferences. I tried the "hide banners" and "hide details". Both worked, but I prefer to see the details .... it helps recognise some people and learn a little about them ... especially newer members.

Jeeze, I kinda feel like Ebeneezer Scrooge, that is, getting all these gifts for Jim, with nothing to give back, , so that being said, I wish Jim and his loved ones a blessed Christmas Season, and a prosperous New Year. (:-) (:-) (:-)
