I know some of the Community Forums are busier than others (the forums based on your user country), so if some of you that are using these regularly would like to encourage more of your countrymen (and women!) to participate you can "Name That Forum!". For example the UK forum is called "The Union Jack Club", the Turkish Forum is called "Turkorama" and the Filipino Forum is called "Filipino Modelers Phorum".

Additionally each community page can have a unique greeting in the native (or dominant language) of that country. A couple of paragraphs basically talking about Armorama and why they should join in the fun would be nice.

If anyone would like to do this just post your forum names and greeting messages here.

Thanks!

Jim

I asked on the french forum and here is the result :
franc'orama

And here is an introduction text I'd propose :

Bienvenue sur franc'orama, la partie francophone de armorama.
Ce site est dédié à la maquette, qu'elle soit de blindé, d'avion, de bateau, etc... Il se construit grâce à la participation de chacun, au sein des forums, mais aussi grâce à des articles.

You mean the forum name? Sure. Callsigns yes also but more rarely is that done.

Ay tink dad beah gud ideera. Awl os sudern foke behavin eh spot ta jawl.

Then we could all speak "Rebonics"

Seriously, in light of the world opinion of my (and most of our) country we could be call "The Warmongers", which doesn't offend me but might some. Hey anywhere you go in the world and us that term they think right away of the USA, sad but true.

Hi Jim,

The Seffrican's have held our referendum, done our election, audited the results and eventually come up with a name for our community forum :-)

Behold!

The Springbok Club

:-) :-)

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to name our little piece of the site
