Was at the LHS today. Saw both the Tamiya Brumbar and Stug IV. Also saw the Dragon Brumbar and Stug IV. The Dragon was almost twice as much as the Tamiya. I know the Tamiyas are old but are they that bad? Also I am torn between the Brumbar and Stug IV

Well,The Tamiya version is based off the old motorized Panzer Iv series No detail on the backs of the road wheels and no detail on the insides of the tracks
If you are gonna go for a StuG Iv I'd say get the DML version
As far as the Brumbars go,the tamiya version is based on the old motorized Panzer IV with the same problems It does represent the older version
The DML version is the late production

Hi, I built the Tamiya Stug and thought it was great. A really enjoyable build, no vices and easy to customise. I recommend it.

well yes they are that bad compared to Dragon aside from being to big in places too small in others theres the motorization holes to fill the rubber band track ( you could replace it with minicraft there Pz iv tracks it is a copy of Tamyia ) But the Dragon Stug iv is great and it comes with tracks has better harder detail too it's no shake and bake but the $ 10.00 more or so .

If you can find a Revell/Italeri Stug lV it will be your best bet. It's better detailed than Tamiya and usually cheaper than either Tamiya or DML.
