Hey Gang.....
I'm fairly new to airbrushing, and up till now, I experienced little or no trouble...
Yesterday I was airbrushing my T34/85, with my Badger 150 with a fine needle and fine spray-nozzle. Everything worked fine, but AFTER cleaning the AB, I usually spray some thinner, to clean the last bits, there was an airflow, but no liquid was "sucked"....
Can any of the more experienced airbrushers tell me what might be wrong???
Thanks for your time, John.

Sounds to me like you may need to take the brush apart and give it a good cleaning. Your brush should have come with a instruction sheet on the breakdown of the brush. Follow it closely and you will find it quite simple to do.

I wasted an entire bottle of thinner on a problem that sounds exactly like yours.
It was the tiny air hole on the mix jar that was plugged.

id suggest checking hte hole on the lid. but tking it apart also. ive had that problem before while i spraying paint ( wasnt thinned properly!) and cleanign it,my problem was because paint got stuck before going in the nozzle

follow this and you shouldnt have any problem taking it apart( it took me about 1 hour the first time because i didnt use the instructions) once your used to takin it apart you wont need it anymore and itll take you a lot less time

Thanks for the replies guys....
Since I'm working with the open cup, it must be the other problem you discribed....

Make sure that the little teflon gasket that sits between the head and the main body is in good condition, if it's sucking air there, you will not suck from the cup. Maybe it's gotten overtightened, or deformed,or lost..... I buy them by the dozen, I'm always losing them.......
