As hard as I tried I just couldn't keep up with scale Sherman production this year although I completed at least a dozen kits in 2004. So far no completions in 2005 but it's only the first day

I finished an even half dozen in 04, but am on track to finish 182.5 in 05, since the year is 2 days old and I've finished one already... :-)

I'd like to finish more than last year, but may not.

we will see.

I amazed myself.... I actually finished 6 projects in 2004.
Of course my projects really are small ones due to size limititations of the apartment. I am always in amazment over the large dioramas done by fellow members.

hmm well actually 2004 was my most productive year in modelling since i finished more than 7 projects in dio - vigniette area and also more than 9 single figure paintsessions, and more than 6 armor - softskin builds. And if i did not had the fire 2 month backstep i d surely would have accomplished some more.
But it was a full year in modelling for sure

Thanx to everybody here, I was inspired enough to finish my first project in a long time. Hopefully it's the start of a trend. Time will tell.

If I take a look at my models now....I have to conclude I actually finished almost nothing haha...

The only finished models are....

Willys Jeep:

M16 gmg:

PAK40:

OMG I finished only 3 projects!

But next to these finished projects, I still have about 5 models which only need weathering and about 6 models which are 50% build.

Well iff build soma things the past year..

For example i made 3 diorama's
two shadow boxes
two 1:16 figures
an german aeroplane
and i did some commercial building ( a willy's in 1:24 )

at this time i'm working on a bunker diorama and today i finished a small Italian tank.

The plans for this year are to build a t-55 in a Afganistan setting. With mosque and a Russian truck and some Taliban soldiers ( All in stock )

A small diorama with a M5A1 tank ( With the correct body work ) I wil use an example from a book

The new kit from Tamiya , the Japanese armoured jeep.

And maybe soem a new figures in large scale.

I hope i can find the time this year to work out my plans.

grtz

And I think 7-9 for '1 of our tanks' , and too many 'non-campaign' builds to list. If I'm not working or otherwise occupied I reckon on about 6-7 hours modelling a day - sick, obsessed (according to my wife!), sad - no life (according to my kids) and skint (according to my bank manager). That's why I have to slow down, or else stop completely.
I have already completed my entry for MSG, and have models on order for Tank Terror and the Heavy Haulers - after that I have on order a Trumpeter 1/32 Tomahawk - after that I'm gonna be getting withdrawal symptoms! LOL

Actually last year has been an experiment for many things. I started to play with 1/35th scale figures and just completed my med evac dio.

Cheers
