Hi all
Liked doing this fig so much that i thought i would give him some thing to look at there will be a stream as you can see a fallen tree and a beaver dam it will be the start of spring in the mountains and there will be the last signs of snow on the ground, have more work to do to the fur cape on the mm.will post some more photos from different angles.
Comments and surrgesstions would be greatly appriciated.
Cheers Chris Tango 20

I love it! Can't wait to see it finished.
I had this wild fantasy when I was a kid that I was going to leave civilization behind and head to the NW territories and become a mountain man. (Influenced by Jeremiah Johnson of course)
Sometimes, I still think about it! Modeling would be a little crude though! (pocket knife and driftwood :-) )

Chris, I think this is very cool. I have been working with water on my last dio and playing with it a little bit for my next one. Will you be trying to make this a winter scene? Is this fellow a trapper? I think will make an excellent dio and am looking forward to future posts on this. Cheers Kevin

Wow, cool composition, I love it! Hope to se it finished. I would post it to the figures forum as well, because it is more than a diorama, it seems like you have worked a lot on the figure itself.
Cheers!

Hi guys
Thanks very much for the feed back , i was intending to have snow but to surrgest the last bits of snow as spring comes i feel by doing that a can create more color and to give that feeling of things coming to life, this dio has a mind of its own he was only going to be sat on a bloody log lol lol but that is the beauty of this great hobby i have found this perticular dio one of the most relaxing that i have done.
Will post more photos as it develops

Looks great - maybe you need to include a beaver frolicking in the stream!
My favourite american wilderness man was Grey Owl - very intresting fellow - a quick bio can be found at:

Keep us updated with this one - btw who manufactures that figure?
