hi,
I recently sprayed an aircraft with Humbrol matt coat ( a little bottle with safety cap) but it doesn't seem too work? It's a varnish but when i wanted to do some washes the underlying paint just disappeared??
....and after spraying the project the surface didn't became matt?
I don't get it.
Cna anyone help me on how to use this stuff with an airbrush?
any tips?
ANd why didn(t it work? --i did my wrathering with tamiya's as-20 enamelthinner and enamel paints over a coat of Humbrol matt with Tamiya Acryl underlying.
Maybe it's the enamel-Thinner "removing" the coat?
cheerz Q!

Must say, I had great results with the Humbrol Matt Cote. It's tons better than their Matt Varnish 49! I assume you had mixed it properly? Perhaps you thinned it too much?
The only thing I noted was that you have to give the matt cote a few days to dry properly. I did a wash 24 hrs after doing the matt cote and ended up with white blotches...
Good luck...
