Hello All,
I found this in a back lot in Taji Iraq and many of us have been scratching our heads. It looks like an M3 FT 17 hybred.

The running gear and chassis is a Vickers light tank. It was used by the British expeditionary forces in France at the start of the war.I will post the only pic i have got of it as soon as i find it.

I'm at work but if some other person has access to the book British and Americal Tanks of World War Two I think you might find it in the Brit section.

Definitely a Vickers light tank, loads of these found their into the 'middle east' during and after ww2 - this photo came from an Israeli armour site! Vickers MkVIb
I think that the one originally posted has been re-engined, as the exhaust was originally on the offside.

Thanks Guys,
I didn't even think about the Vickers. I knew if I posted it here I'd find an answer. I've got tons of interior pics as well. They did some serious mods to it and the inside is almost all engine.

Originally they had mg's only - usually 1 x .303 vickers plus 1 x 0.5 vickers. later these were replaced with equivalent Besa weapons - both this example and the Israeli one that I found look more like 20mm?
