I just love the low-profile of this tank

You did a great job on the weathering. Maybe an idea to make the tracks more dirty? I find them a bit clean in contrary to the roadwheels. ( I know nitpicking )

What is the story behind the Jagdpanther? Probably I have missed something in your last posts

Where are the markings?

I like your figure, nice job on it.

The back quarters strike me a bit funny. The back has a nice coating of dirt from the edge to the mufflers and the sides have a low line of dirt.
If there is an option to add more dirt a bit higher on the back sides I'd do it.

The color is awsome and the road wheels are very well done.

Andy,

nice build! I think that you did a fine job with painting and weathering. The roadwheels are fantastic. I like the figure too.

Again great work on your Jagdpanther. Faded green and your weathering are awesome.

I really like how you did the roadwheels. Dried, caked-on mud, and the oil streaks on the wheel hubs look fantastic.

My only question is why no decals ? I think one of those black outline crosses with the thin white lines on the outside would look really good.

Great job !!

Cheers !!

i was anxious to see this beuaty finished

only pointer, the back panel could have a little mud on it, and so could the tracks, the panels and side skirts are dirtby but the tracks are clean

excellent work on the overal, especialy the figure

, Hi all and thanks a lot for taking the time to comment...Did not really want to cake the tracks in mud as i reckoned this would be the first place it would be dislodged. No markings were applied as at the latter stages some vehicles had none at all..

Cheers

Outstanding finish Andy, the weathering looks supurb. It's the little details that really complete this model, like the bucket on the back (plusmodel?) and the 'as new' ax hhandel on a otherwise filthy TD....
And the outline of the missing/ removed storageboxes is excellent, oh and the spare track retaining pins on their small chains, the barrel cleaning rod tube lid on the chain.. Frag already mentioned the figure..
I have the late Jagdpanther, build up and waiting for inspiration for paint. Well, I need look no further, yours has really given me the direction it needed.

Cheers

Fantastic job!! I have followed this build since you posted on ML. My upcoming build is two hetzers followed by a jagdpanther and seeing yours completed makes me want to start the cat first. I was pretty sceptical on the color initially, but it turned out great!! Don't worry about the mud on the tracks, you are right about it being the first place to come off. I worked around heavy excavation equipment for years and tracks don't hold mud for long when they're on pavement. One major OOO-RAH!!!

First off, nice build. I like green. Lots of fun to fade and weather. Your choice for the barrel color really compliments the rest of the build. Breaks up that monochromatic scheme. That and the use of different colored roadwheels as well. Now as I look at it with no markings it has that "This needs to get the party like yesterday" look to it. Much like the Russian's did with their T34's. Build them and then go fight them. Who needs paint and markings to fight? I can't think of anything that hasn't already been stated in regards to your build. Keep up the great work! "Q"

Overall this is an impressive model. The weathering is excellent... just perfect. I like the personal touches ... the axe and water can instead of the usual spare tracks, the barrel and the bucket. They all make the model memorable.
Little things in my opinion that would add to maybe (as this is the constructive comments)
The figures uniform and skin tones, although well painted, are pretty similar in colour. As the tank is also yellowish, if the uniform was darker, black or camoŽed, it would give more contrast ... possibly adding to the effect.
The little chains for spare track are great details, but surely chain like this would rust, even if sprayed. I know its a rushed out tank, but slight chipping or a burnt sienna wash in this area would contrast and add effect. Even though they havent been used for what they were meant for, the chains would swing about and lift off their paint and rub the track holders.
The sides of the turret(?), although weathered, is a sort of blank canvass. More rain streaks and weathering would look amazing. For me the beauty of this model is large flat panels and what can be done here. I like the fact theres no markings, but it leaves room for even more nice effects.

Andy,I hope you dont think Im nit-picking. I love this model, and as said already is most impressive. I just see a model and think (out loud ) what would I do next. Thanks for sharing your work. It was a pleasure and very inspirational. Cheers!
