What's a good source for 1/35 diamond plate for M113 floor panels. Metal would be preferable.

I know the Eduard sets have the floor panels but I need some non-standard pieces and don't want to carve up my one Eduard interior set.

Thanks,
Paul

Hey, Paul- Why not make a cast of your Eduard set with plaster (or some other hard casting agent) and then burnish some lead foil into the resulting relief?
I'm sure someone makes sheets of the stuff, but i don't like to buy what I can just as easily scratch. Oh, & if you need some lead, I just picked up about 8 pounds of it from my dentist, with more coming Thursday. Happy to send you a envelope full.

Plastruct makes at least two types of diamond tread plate in their standard sheet sizes. while not perfect 1/35 scale in works very well. I'm not sure but I think thier website is plastruct.com

I'm pretty sure Accurate Armor has 1/35 plates... see under AA diorama products.

Here's the diamond plate, 6.38 pounds:

Hope this helps,
Mario.
