Hi All, I don't normally post 'in progress' pics, but I thought this may be interesting to some of you. It's Tamiya's Churchill with Legend's NA75 conversion. The original tanks were MkIVs updated at the 1st Army workshops in Bone, North Africa by replacing the 6pd with 75mm guns from wrecked Shermans.
The conversion is well produced, and all the parts clean up and fit well providing you cut accurately on the plastic kit parts. I'll be using the kit tracks instead of the Legend resin parts only because the photos of North Irish Horse (25th Army Tank Brigade) vehicles show the open track in use rather than the plate type provided in the conversion.

Next weekend (back at work now so only modelling at weekends) I have to add the detail parts from the Tamiya kit and spray primer ( I use grey auto primer from a rattle can). Main painting is at least a week away! I have already produced my own decals from the inkjet using Powerpoint and downloads that I found by putting '25 Army Tank Brigade' into google.
