Does anyone here own any 1/35 r/c perferably tamiya?
I've seen some "motorized" 1/35 kits on ebay, however, I can't find any of those kits on tamiyausa.com. Are those motorized kit 3rd party ? or they once came as a set?

Some of the old Tamiya kits had a wire control What you got was twin motors on the kit One motor for each axle That way you could have one axle in reverse and the other in forward
You had the wires going into the hand control They weren't R/C like a normal one was

Tamiya released several of their newer 1/35 scale kits with full function radio control. I picked up the M1A1 Abrams and my local shop had some of the WW2 German armor kits (Tiger, Panther, King Tiger? not to sure exactly which ones).
The price of the German armor kits were in the $100-125 range. Hobby Link Japan still lists a couple of the R/C tank kits, the King Tiger and Leopard 2A5. Here is a link to the King Tiger: http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM48203.
