Hmmm,,,with about 90 jars of paints - acrylics and enamels, and 10 tubes of oils, my wife just chuckles. Oh yeah, I just got 12 more jars from Military Hobbies - LifeColors' Allied Armor package. I can't wait to try em out. :-)

I just counted: 94 bottles of enamels, 21 acrylics, 2 lacquers, and 7 tubes of oils. A lot of the enamels are specific colours that I may only use once, but I still mix them sometimes.

I have many I don't use, didn't even bother counting. One thing that my wife can be sure of is if I go to the hobby store there will be at least one new bottle of paint in the bag. Since switching to acrylics I have a buch of enamel I hardly use. Then I decided to try some different brands (Used MM because thats what I always did and could find). I shot some Tamiya through my AB and started increasing my collection of their paints. Then someone whos work I admire told me to try Gunze Sangyo if I like Tamiya and would like to have some paint that has a FS series so I am getting more of those. I am thinking of selling a huge assortment of paints I won't ever use on E-bay just to save some space. I value my oil paints more than any other I have and just picked up some pastels to try also.

I got curious and did a little counting too...result:

126 bottles of Humbrol paint
38 bottles of Model Master and Testor paint
44 bottles of Citdadel paint
8 bottles of Andrea Colour
6 bottles of Tamiya paint

I must say that i use alot of them since im making all kinds of models; War Hammer 40K,
WW2 figures, WW2 aircraft, WW2 Armor, Ancient figures, Fantasy etc....
And besides, i like to try out paint of different brands to see which one i like more.

Well I mostly use Acrylics, Though I still sometimes use Enamals, I have not counted the number of bottles that I have. But would estimate it at about 20 bottles of paint. Mostly Acryl's but with some if not about half being Enamels...I ttry to use them up on each new project. ANd toss them out as I use them up.

SInce I only build German stuffs, so my selection is not that large, but I got about 10 bottles each for dark gray, dankgelb, green, and brown, then a bunch of metal color, and of course the basics. I say the totals will be somewhere around 50.

Too many to count....but as for the wife I keep most of my paints out of site in drawers and tackle boxes. I also have my duplicate colors in a portable set up for when I travel and yes I model on the road. As for the difference between Dark Yellow 43 and 45....

That goes for most things.

Won't even attempt to count, I use oils and water based. From model master to Tamiya, polls to gunze. Many are multiples of the same color I hate running out in the middle of a kit.
