Hi all, im new to this forum but just got this little beastie for xmas and am having fun building it so far. Its going to be Wittmans S04 (I beleive the kits S03 was wrong) with the winter wash.
You guys look like a friendy bunch so I will keep you informed. If you have any comments on the kit before i get too involved that would be canny.
I will post pics when I manage to steel my mams digi camera
Cheers

Hmmm I like the academy tiger!!
I have this tiger myself as well, and I'll give it an "extreme-makeover" soon (removing current paint, giving more attention to weathering, using weatheringtechniques on the interior etc..)
Good luck with yours, be sure to keep us updated!

From another newb, welcome
I have that same kit, sitting in my stash. I'm a little too afraid to attempt it right now, as the piece count itself is overwhelming. But I'm eagerly waiting for it, for all those interior details. I plan to make mine a cutaway piece showcasing the interior. Keep us posted. I'd love to see the progression of this one.

welcome Cadd and Zokissima! Cadd. I've done the Academy Mid-production with interior and really enjoyed it. The Academy Early production kit is in my closet yet. Given the detail and amount of time you will be putting into this build, are you gonna use some after-market tracks? The vinyl ones are OK but some metal Friuls would really add a great touch.
I look forward to seeing your progress on this one.

I have that kit too in my stash. I havn't been in much of a hurry to start it as I am not really a Tiger fan.
(I know shocking huh!!)
However I am looking forward to cracking it open in the spring.

I was just going to try and keep this one standard, I have a T34/85 thats getting a scratchbuilt interior in 1/35 so thats keeping me busy also.
Probably going to try the late one afterwards and maybe try those friel tracks
Thanks for the warm welcome all
Phil
