As someone totally unconnected with Accurate Armour it seems to be quite useful to pass on a little snippet from them...
For the unitiated, a number of years ago, a company called Skybow had a superb range of 1/35th scale softskins. This range was later absorbed into AFV Club's catalog and is still available...
Accurate Armour who had large stocks of the original kits are now selling off their stock at HUGE discount.. Check them out here: Skybow Sell-Off ..Jim

Howdy Jim,
Really appreciate the heads up on this one......and it's very tempting. But the shipping to the U.S. unfortunately makes it almost as much as I'd pay here......
Now, if you have a source on this side of the 'Pond' that is selling the Big Shot for $10. bucks American.......
Thanks again sir
Tread.

Lucky the Greenback is gaining ground on the Euro last week it was 1 euro would get you a 1.37 it's now down to 1.30 as of this mornings trading. From the looks of things the shipping from AA is fairly reasonable from the UK ... cheap than shipping from HK. So with shipping and the exchange rate their Skybow models are running arounf $13-$15 not really that bad ... at least we don't have to pay those EU taxes.

Damn It !! I've been trying to resist this great offer as I'm under pressure to cut back; but have just given in and ordered a WC57, a couple of those nice .50s and some decals for my Achilles.

Anyone noticed my thread in Truck'orama about Skybow's M38A1s a few days ago?
Guess where I got them! :-) :-) :-)
Together with a set of M109 tracks and a couple of .50s.
