I afixed planking to my Italeri USMC M4 Sherman. The 4th Tank battalion vehicle displayed in the Osprey Book shows that the planking was secured with rather large bolts. I tried my VLS sheet nuts and bolts. They just do not look that good. I understand Grandt makes nuts and bolts. I have a list of various sizes available. However, there are no pictures showing how many are in a packet or what they look like. Can someone direct me to a source that has photos of their products. Better yet, can someone recommend a size and quantity for use?
thanks

Steve--appreciate the information. If you can tell me what size approximates the bolts used to secure the siding to the tank, I'd be in your debt.
thanks

DJ,
Grandt Line bolts are scaled for HO trains and are usually handled by any hobby shop that has a selection of HO train stuff.
Your best bet is take the hull with you and use the old Mark 1 eyeball.
The bolts are relatively cheap, so pick up a couple/three sizes.

Many thanks. I shall do the eye ball method and see where she goes from there. Just a great project to work on...
thanks again
