Many thanks for your kind compliments, Tomek!
Please suggest how differentiated the grass could be apart from being green, dry, and snowed.

I think the vehicle and the figures have been finished really well and as seperate models are really good. But as a diorama it looks unfinished to me, almost as though the vehicle and figures have been placed there just to take the photos.
I am assuming that the white on the grass is snow or ice? If it is why is the bottom of the greatcoats and boots of the soldiers not showing fleacks of it which they would have picked up by even getting out of the vehicle? The half track is the same. It would show areas around the tracks and front wheels where it had driven across the snow and ice. Once again not much is needed but by doing this you would blend the vehicle and the figures into the base rather then just have them appear to be sitting on top.
Footprints in the snow would add to this as well showing the soliers movements.
Other then that as I said before a well done job of the half track and figures.

Phaisal
I thought about making some tall grass and meadow plants. It is rare to see only one kind of grass in nature. Plants are usualy mixed. I also think that using diffrent kind of plants make dio more interesting.
And what do you think about quality of AFV's Sd. Kfz.11/4 Nebelkraftwagen? Does it have seperate tracks? Is it worth to buy it?

Sorry, Tomek and Jet, I didn't see your reply because they were in another page.
Tomek, I agree with you that using different kinds of plants make the dio more interesting. But that depends on how my modeler will work it out. AFV's armors are high quality ones, you usually get what you pay for. The Sd.Kfz. 11/4 doesn't come with separate tracks but their tracks are good ones.
Jet, during the past 5-6 years I've quitted building models myself now that I have professional modelers such as 'Art Instructor' working for me.

Viva...
You quited modelling and now you have others working for you??? I believe that the joy of this hobby is to build OURSELVES the models, not putting others to work for us! but that's just my opinion!!...
Besides that, the dio "main stream components" are greatly very well worked, and painted, alll that's missing is the dio itself!
where the rest of it? no trees, no grass, no ground...
See yaaa

My reply :
Many thanks for your kind compliments, Heiko!
Many thanks for your kind comments as well, Celestino!. In my case I built a lot myself and they look ugly, nobody would like to look at them. My joy now is to have a nice collection, focusing on both quantity and quality! It's something I can't do without outsourcing.
Which dio were you looking at?, I wonder. Most dio's on show on my site usually come with ground, grass and trees or at least two of these three things.
