Very nice Adrian!
What figures are the 82nd? They look like Dragons or are they from Nemrod?

Good dio.
It tells a story and thats not a bad thing.
Just one thing, the small road could have a nother colour than the "big" road, the main road would have been a bit more trafik than the small one.
Good thinking, that the riffel's are mising from the truck. it is one thing the crew will have on then all time.

Hi,
It's clear you''ve great skills in painting figures! They look great!
The like the dio as well, nice set up and the high grass left of the halftrack looks great. I personally think the color of the road is a little too red though, and the hedgerow looks a little ehmm...like a cube. They technique you used is good, it looks good, but the shape isn't really accurate (I don't really know how to say this in English, I hope you get my point).
So overall a nice diorama! Keep up the good work!
Martin

An excellent dio, though it looks a little empty. Still, it looks very good.

Cool litle dio there! I really like the concept, and the Geman hiding in the hedge is a great touch. I really like the gate too, very nice!

Wow, nice!!!
One nice looking dio. I especially like the pic with the helmet in the front. You can just feel the tension these americans are having.
I almost want to scream out "look out for the guy behind the hedge""
I can just feel the grain of the clothing.. everything looks so real.
One question though: what is the american soldier kneeling down holding in his right hand?

Extremely good dio, but I do think that the dio is too clean. The street for example. I love how the dio keeps you wondering whats gonna happen next... Your thinking when you see this, "Is the jerry gonna get em? No way! He only has a bolt action rifle" Well what if he throws the nade? Are the americans gonna get him? The have semi auto but the jerry still has the nade. This dio is absolutly ingenous! Great job!

Nice diorama Adrian. All the basics are there.
Figures are excellent, both the US Paratroops, and the Waffen SS Grenadier.
Sd Kfz 7/2 2cm Flakvierling looks good too.
Groundwork, fence, and hedgrow look fairly simple, yet I really like how you did it.
Keep up the good work !!
Prost

Nice job. A project to be proud of for sure. The detail is very good, the story is well told and enjoyable to view.
Here are a few things to think about for the next one.
Always think about - "How did xxx get there?" "How did yyy happen?" "Does it make sence?" Ask these on everything.....
The top left empty corner is a bit bear and could use 'something' maybe another stump.
You could add a touch more to the gate if you added nail holes using a pin to push in small holes.

The figures are great but I'm gonna chime in with what some others said: The road is really too reddish (but perhaps it's due to camera/monitors not producing the right color). I haven't seen the bocage in real life so I can't comment on the "accuracy" of the hedge. I think the left side of the dio is lacking something. Perhaps a small tree or a bush or perhaps even a fallen flak crew member lying in the grass to balance things a bit.
The Flak halftrack looks very nice and there's some nice little details like the spent ammo lying around and the grenade by the germans feet.
Like with all good dio's this one tells a story and that is IMO, the hallmark of a good dio.
Overall, nice work!

Hello guys
Thanks a lot for your comments.
Here are some informations about my work:
The two paras are from Nemrod and they are realy excellent. I did the straps for the rifles by my self from a piece of aluminium foil. For the painting I used some acrylics from Tamyia and some pigment powders. The thing, thet the kniling para is holding in his right hand , is a clicker. The clicker was used on D-Day as a signal that would indicate the friendly (or fiendly) nature of unidentified soldiers. One click-click was the "sign" - if the other person was an allied soldier, he would click-click twice.
The german soldier is from Dragon and was painted in the same way as the two other guys.
The Sd. Kfz. 7/1 is from Tamyia with some PE-Parts from eduard and tracks from Friulmodel. I painted this flakwagon also with acrylics from Tamyia and some pastel powders.
The body of the hedge is a piece of stellwool, where I sprinkled some spices on. I agree with you, that the shape of the hedge not perfect is. Also the color of the street. But I was happy with the result when I was built it.
I hope your questions are answered now and I thank you for your tips.
Adrian

I agree with all the thing said above, all the positive and negative critics, and I like your diorama, especially the way you painte the figures. One thing I wan to add, though. The secondary road connects to the primary at 90 degrees, and there are corners at this junction. Cars turn and make the turn in curves, so, there should not be any corners but curves at the point the roads meet. I hope I could explain it clearly.
Cheers!

Viva...
Great Diorama, with a nice action scene...
Just a remark, like others said already, the street section looks very clean... and what did you use for reference for the color of the ground? it looks a little red, at least for me!!!
But otherwise, it's really a great dio!
See yaaa
