TMD wants to do some vignette bases based on the old Matchbox 1/76 scale armor bases. Pawel also sent me some nice 1/72 scale resin vignette bases with cobblestones, railroad tracks and other neat things.
I also found a vendor who did a destroyed factory fighting position (WW2 Germany) that is great for something like a Panther or Maus. I got it for $15 at the BayCon show this past fall. Great base, too bad I don't recall the vendor. He was a local New Englander. Al Lafleche probably knows who he is.

A lot of things from the H0 scale (1:87) model railroad can be used, including boxes, crates, bridges, and a thousand things more. Even buildings can be used in some cases where the doors are not too visible, since they most clearly show the scale. Check out these manufacturers: Faller, Kibri and Heljan.
I am using Linka molds to make buildings and ruins in 1:72, and it works great. Linka
You could also take a look at Tracks and Troops, they have a lot of buildings and accessories as well.
Hope this helps!

Verlinden has released several sets of bases, etc in 72nd recently.
Goffy makes some nice extras such as weapons, gear, boxes, etc.
MIG also has some good 72nd scale stuff.
Don't forget Wargame accessories. Lots of good buildings out there.

Here are companies that make WWII related stuff. Check out items in the 20mm sections (25mm will also work but usually is a little large for 72nd).
There are also sections for Arab-Israeli, Vietnam, etc.
