Just picked up FSM's Great Scale Modeling 2005, and on pg 48, I got published! The pic is from the show in Calgary back last May. It's my "Passing Through" dio, with Tamiya's Mobelwagen, and Fallschirmjager troops...
Happy Me! LOL :-)

Hi Guys, thanks so much, I'm still giddy about this, this marks the third time I've been published. Once a long time ago in Model Car Magazine, and about 4 issues ago in Scale Auto (that was from the Calgary show as well), but this one, wow. A huge pic to boot. And congrats to Bryan as well! Well done! (I tell ya, It's got to be something in our water here....
After getting into Scale Auto, I emailed the guys who run both those mags (same parent co.) and unfortunately no compensation coming my way, I think it's because it's contest coverage...if you get into the reader gallery, that's when they pay out I believe, but who cares?! haha :-) :-)
But I remember a couple of years ago, I emailed a tip for FSM's reader tips, and got a reply saying that they were going to publish it, I was all like cool, whatever.
I get this envelope in the mail from FSM, and it's a free issue with my tip in it. BUT then an envelope fell out, and inside was a cheque for 25 bucks American! Now that floored me!
Thanks again!

Congrats.... I have had multiple articles and photos published, and think we should encourage more people from Armorama to submit material to the magazines.... Many of the works here on this site are as good (or far better) than what I see in the magazines.
The process if fairly simple, and the publishers are always looking for content...
Come to think of it, we should publish our own "Armorama Hall of Fame" book... I think it would sell. Anyone interested!?
