Hi,
I have 2 questions:
1: How do you crete a realistic concrete colour on cardboard. i have allready textured it using plaster (ji coloured it like concrete but it is just to messy)?
2: How do you create realitic beach sand?
I am going to create a 1946 'ww2 alternate ending' beach dio. Hopefully it will have a radar/mg tower and a underground pak bunker!

cheers

Philip

for the sand, i used real beach sand i got up north, its seriously as wqhite as the one you can find on trips to the south, and soem darker sand from sand pits were i dirtbike so i have 2 different shades. i tried mixing this with white glue diluted with water and mixing it with some cheap acrylics you get here for one dollar plus tax at the dollor store until i get the shade i want, thats as far as i have been with this experiment, but maybe a gloss seal, a nice wash, could make it look good , oh and since its not liquidy you can play with the texture!

Frank

p.s,. its almost free so why not try?

Ciao procrazzy,
Frank has the best idea, but I was thinking that you coat a piece of cardboard with white glue and then sprinkle baking soda on it. Then flatten it with a tongue depressor and after it dries, paint it the color of concrete. It might work.
Ciao for now
Rob
